Security keys

The foopgp association does not sell its physical security keys: it provides them to its members as soon as their cumulative subscriptions have generated 6.42 Ɉ¹ (≈ 166 € this month).

Available models, at the member’s choice and according to stock:

• YubiKey 5 NFC
• Nitrokey 3A
• Soon: YubiKey 5C NFC

All at the same threshold — the association absorbs the differences in margin.

Why a threshold in djis, not a price in euros?

Because the threshold expressed in euros moves automatically with the stingynalty — a factor that more than offsets inflation in euros, rising by 5 ‰ each month (current parameter). The threshold is never fixed: it climbs mechanically, month after month, and so rewards the pioneers.

On the curve above, every passing month makes the same amount of djis more expensive in euros:

• In July 2025 (extraordinary general meeting in Pelleautier, introduction of the parameter): ≈ €114 for 6.42 Ɉ.
• In May 2027: = €199.09.
• In April 2028: = €268.77.
